Evolis Zenius is a compact, easy-to-use ID printer that is perfect for high-end card printing in small batches or single runs. Evolis Zenius replaced the Evolis Tattoo and features an upgraded print engine and printer design which allows for high-end printing in small batches or single runs – perfect for on-demand card print applications.

Professional printing

Zenius printers produce professional results thanks to the 300 dpi resolution and edge to edge printing. Your logos, photos, barcodes and text are rendered perfectly on your cards, conveying a positive image of your organization.

Fits in Any Environment

A compact design with card feeder and output tray located at the front of the printer allow the Zenius to fit in tight spaces with easy access to your finished cards. The lightest printer in its class, Zenius weighs only 7.3 lbs and works well in most environments including welcome desks, retail counters or office cubicles.

Ease of use

Zenius was designed to be intuitive and easy to use.

• You insert your cards individually or use the automatic feeder, and the final product is delivered on the front of the printer.
• With the Evolis Premium Suite software you can receive notifications and easily control the printer from your computer.
• Evolis High Trust ribbons are easy to install and automatically recognized by the printer.

On demand printing

Zenius was developed specifically for printing cards individually or in small runs. You can print as needed, when needed, in quantities that are right for you. Zenius can print a color card in 30 seconds and up to 150 color cards per hour, so you and your customers don’t have to wait.

Scalability

Zenius is incredibly flexible. Suitable for multiple applications, the «Expert» version of the printer features combinable encoding functions: magnetic encoding, contact and contactless chips. It takes just a few minutes to install these modules!

Eco-friendly Design

Earth-friendly features include standby and sleep modes, ErP (European Directive) compliance, and noise reduction technology for quiet operation.

Flexible Modular Upgrades

Modular design allows for easy in-house upgrades—with the latest encoder technology—and direct access to connection ports. Zenius Classic features USB connectivity while Zenius Expert includes USB and Ethernet connectivity. Zenius Expert can also be ordered here with optional ISO Dual HiCo/LoCo 3-track magnetic stripe encoder.

Intuitive Consumables

Enhanced Evolis consumables—including printer ribbons with RFID technology, varnish overlays and printer cleaning kits—improve graphic performance and simplify routine tasks. Zenius can automatically identify and configure your Evolis ribbons, which are housed in a handy ribbon cassette for easy installation.
